What it is

The Rogue Invitational is the invitation-only event of Rogue Fitness. The 2026 edition was the 8th annual one and the third in a row at P&J Live in Aberdeen, Scotland.

It is an independent event: it is not part of the CrossFit Games season or of the World Fitness Project.

Format

  • Four divisions: Men, Women, Strongman and Strongwoman.
  • Three days of competition, 23 to 25 October 2026: 9 events in each CrossFit division and 6 events in Strongman and Strongwoman (2 days).
  • Athletes per division: Men: 19 · Women: 20 · Strongman: 9 · Strongwoman: 9.

How scoring works

Every event hands out points by place. The sum of all events decides the overall ranking.

Men and Women

100 · 95 · 90…

1st = 100 points, then 5 fewer for each place (2nd 95, 3rd 90…). In a tie, every tied athlete gets the points of the better place, with no averaging.

Strongman · Strongwoman

10 · 9 · 8…

1st = 10 points, then 1 fewer for each place (2nd 9, 3rd 8…). In a tie, the tied athletes split the average of their places' points (for example, 2.5).

How athletes get in

It is an invitational: Rogue can invite anyone it chooses. To pick the field it uses its own Rogue Points system (which reserves at least 10 places for the best-ranked athletes by points), an online qualifier, “The Q”, which gives direct entry, and invitations at Rogue's discretion.

How many athletes came in through each route in 2026: To be confirmed

Prize purse

Rogue funds the 2026 prize purse (the “Iron Game Prize Purse”) with its own contribution plus a share of every sale tied to the event.

$1,580,095

Total purse

$1,215,000

In cash from Rogue

$275,000

In Bitcoin from Rogue (bought at $95,000 per coin)

The purse grows with every one of these

  • $5 per attendee ticket sold
  • 10% of the registration fees of the 2026 online qualifier, "The Q"
  • $5 for every Rogue Invitational T-shirt sold
  • $20 for each GORUCK Rucker sold on Rogue Fitness
  • $5 per registration in the monthly Rogue Challenge series
  • $10 per pair of R.A.D shoes

The total purse is the official figure: the cash and Bitcoin contributions plus the variable contributions listed above.
