World Fitness Series 2027: the 10 stops
What it is
The World Fitness Project (WFP) is a professional competitive fitness league with the motto “For Athletes, By Athletes”. In 2026 it closed its season with two Tour Stops and the World Fitness Finals in Copenhagen (17-20 Dec). In 2027 the format changes: the World Fitness Series, with 10 qualifying events across 4 continents, and a World Fitness Championship that you reach from those events. Unlike the CrossFit Games, there is no single worldwide funnel: each event has its own registration, qualifiers and spots.

How to qualify in 2027
Reaching the Championship means earning a spot at one of the 10 events of the 2027 Series. Each event publishes how many spots it gives and in which divisions; in each event's rulebook, the divisions in bold are the ones that award spots. There are two ways in, depending on the event and the division:
- Online: some events open an online qualifier (you record your workouts and submit the score) and the best move on to the event's live final. That is how UBL in Naples works: its online qualifier runs from 15 Feb to 15 Mar 2027.
- In person: you compete directly at the event in the divisions that award spots.
The detailed 2027 procedure (registration, cut-offs, general rules) is not official yet: the WFP website points to each event's rulebook, and the general 2027 rulebook is not published (only the 2026 one is).

2026: the World Fitness Finals run 17-20 December 2026 at the Bella Center in Copenhagen. The top 30 per sex on combined Tour Stop points compete, along with Elite Teams and Masters. Athletes do not start from zero: they begin with their season points. The Crown (17-19 Dec) runs alongside for athletes aged 16 to 21, invitation only and with no cash prize.
2027: the World Fitness Championship is the final of the Series. Its venue and dates are not published.
Prize money
In 2026 the WFP pays out $1,966,000 ($420,000 more than 2025, just over 21%): $414,000 per Tour Stop and $1,138,000 at the Finals. For 2027 no global purse is published: each event announces its own (Athens Throwdown, for instance, offers up to €64,800 in total for the whole event).
