CrossFit Games 2027
The CrossFit Games are the season finale and crown the “Fittest on Earth”. In 2027 the 40 best men and 40 best women in the world compete in the individual division, alongside teams. The venue and dates have not been announced yet.

What they are, plainly
It is the last step of a road that starts with the Open and runs through four stages: Open, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Games. Anyone who gets here has come through all four stages of the season.
The Games bring together several finals: individual (men and women), teams, and the Masters, Teenage and Adaptive finals, which are organised by third parties in 2027.
Who competes
- Individual: the top 40 men and top 40 women from the Semifinals.
- Teams: the best from the Team Qualifiers. The number of spots is to be confirmed.
- Masters: the final is run by Magic City Games, in Birmingham (Alabama). Dates, venue and spots to be confirmed.
- Teenagers (14-15, 16-17 and 18-19): final run by Pit Prodigies. Details to be confirmed.
- Adaptive: final run by WheelWOD. This year spots per division and sex will depend on the number of Adaptive Open registrations. Dates and location to be confirmed.
Where and when
CrossFit has said it will announce the venue and dates “soon”. Until then they are listed as to be confirmed. Once announced we will update this page with local and UTC times. How the competition can be watched is to be confirmed.
How it worked in 2026 (reference)
Some rules that applied in 2026 and give a sense of the process, though they are not valid for 2027 until the new rulebook is out:
- The individual field was 30 men and 30 women (in 2027 it is 40 and 40).
- Registration cost US$500 for individuals and US$700 for teams, and individuals and teams had to submit a medical eligibility form signed by a physician.
- If someone declined the invitation or failed the screening, their spot could go to the next eligible athlete from the competition where they had earned their invitation, with a maximum of three athletes outside the qualifying positions.
