CrossFit Games
The 2027 CrossFit Games close the 2027 CrossFit season: a three-week Open starting on 17 February, then Quarterfinals, Semifinals, in-person Team Qualifiers and National Championships. 40 men and 40 women will compete as individuals. The Games venue and dates are to be confirmed; CrossFit says they will be announced soon.

What the season is
The CrossFit Games season is a funnel. Anyone can sign up for the Open, a three-week online competition, and the best move on through the Quarterfinals and the Semifinals until 40 men and 40 women reach the CrossFit Games. Every division (individual, teams, Masters, teens and adaptive) has its own path, and 2027 brings changes: Open workouts are released on Wednesdays, teams qualify at in-person events, there are National Championships and a new 18 to 19 teen bracket.

Registration 7 Jan 2027. Workouts: 27.1 (17 Feb), 27.2 (24 Feb) and 27.3 (3 Mar)
Who
Any registered athlete: individual, teams, Masters, teens. The Adaptive Open is run by WheelWOD.
What happens
Three workouts over three weeks. Each is released on the Games website on Wednesday at 12:00 PT and you have until Monday 5:00 p.m. PT to do it and submit your score. There are leaderboards by affiliate, by age and worldwide. Registration price: to be confirmed.

In-person events hosted by select partners that decide which teams go to the Games. There is no online qualifier for teams. Window: 22 Mar to 13 Jun 2027. Every team registered for the Open may enter as many as it wants, and an affiliate may send more than one team to the Games. The event list and the spots: to be confirmed.

What is the CrossFit Games season?
A phased competition: Open (online), Quarterfinals, Semifinals and the Games. In 2027 in-person Team Qualifiers and National Championships are added.
When does the 2027 Open start?
Registration opens on 7 January 2027 and workouts drop on 17 Feb (27.1), 24 Feb (27.2) and 3 Mar (27.3), always on Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m. PT (noon on the US West Coast).
What day are workouts released and when is the deadline?
They are released on Wednesdays (new for 2027) and the score deadline is Monday 5:00 p.m. PT.

Is there an online qualifier for teams?
No. Teams must attend an in-person Team Qualifier (some events may run their own online qualifier beforehand).
Can a team change its roster after the Open?
No. Teams are set during the Open.
How is a national champion decided?
By winning your country's National Championship if there is one; otherwise the top Open or Quarterfinals finisher from that country. You must be a citizen.
Can I chase both the Games and a national title?
Yes.
Which teen brackets are there?
14-15, 16-17 and, new in 2027, 18-19. Teens qualify only through the age-group online Semifinal (24 to 28 Jun).
Where are the 2027 Masters CrossFit Games?To be confirmed
Magic City Games hosts them in Birmingham (Alabama). Dates are to be confirmed.
